| Description: | The purpose of this position is to supervise the call center agents in their efforts to meet and exceed sales objectives. The call center sales supervisor has the responsibility to ensure that sales opportunities are maximized on every call, while maintaining quality assurance standards, order accuracy, exceeding customer expectations and contributing to the overall development and success of a high-performing sales operation. |
| Duties: | Major Responsibilities
• Supervise a team of 15-20 call center age selling across all product lines, services, and ancillary products in a call center environment.
• Drive the team toward meeting and exceeding sales goals through coaching, monitoring, feedback, and training.
• Communicate goals, business and sales strategy, as well as other operational updates.
• Assist in the creation, administration and tracking of sales incentive contests and commissions.
• Review sales performance, managing to net incremental contributions toward each product line.
• Provide support and guidance to call center age, assuring favorable relationships with customers through retention and generation of revenue, quality assurance and professional customer service.
• Responsible for monitoring call center age compliance with company training programs, policies and procedures.
• Provide direction and guidance in customer account research and problem resolution, empowering associates to effectively problem-solve.
• Select, train, direct and motivate associates; monitor and evaluate performance and recommend salary actions for associates.
• Assist in establishing and updating performance standards for associates.
• Assist in the establishment and achievement of budgetary goals, operational goals and operational procedures.
• Must be knowledgeable of all products and services, company benefits, procedures and policies and provide periodic awareness to subordinates through team meetings, individual coaching sessions, and other venues as necessary.
• Perform other duties as required. |
| Qualifications: | Required Competencies
• Bachelors degree (BS or BA) required or comparable amount of relevant experience
• 2 to 3 years inbound sales experience or comparable sales experience in consumer, retail or hospitality industries
• 3 + years supervisory experience
• PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office, Internet navigation and email
• Ability to motivate and drive key goals
